For 14+ years, I've been fortunate to call Boston, MA, my home. Specifically, the North End, known as the "Little Italy" of Boston, is considered the best Little Italy in the country. Within the North End lies North Square, one of the oldest public squares in the United States, and has been continuously occupied since at least the 1630s. This enduring presence and historical significance symbolize the timeless value of the real estate—an asset that never goes away, providing a secure and stable investment opportunity. I get asked those questions a lot, and the answer is personal.
I spent years in financial services working with financial advisors who managed client assets ranging from $20 million to over $3 billion. I saw behind the curtain — the good, the bad, and the frustrating.
What struck me most was how siloed the industry was. Even the best teams hoarded ideas. There was no collaboration, no sharing of strategies that could genuinely help more people. It felt like a good old boys’ club, and it didn’t sit right with me.
At the same time, I looked at my own family, many of whom work in medicine. That’s when it clicked.
